UTSG Finale 100km Race

Start/End at old Bukit Timah Railway station (50% trail, 50% road) (1750m elevation)

Route: Run the best 100km trail in Singapore which take you through Bukit Timah Hill, Dairy Farm NP, Rail Corridor North, Rainbow Bridge, Marsiling Park, Pipeline Trail (North), Chestnut NP, Mandai T15 trail, Mandai Road, Springleaf NP, Upper Peirce Reservoir, Windsor NP, Peirce Track, MacRitchie Reservoir, Rifle Range Link, Pipeline Trail central to Jervois, the Southern Ridges and returning via the Rail Corridor.

Key highlights of route not to be missed:

1) Bukit Timah summit via Cave path, summit stairs, Jungle Falls path, back to toilet via road, Taban loop, Cave path and exit via Catchment path to Belukar track
2) Rainbow bridge
3) Pipeline trail (north) and Zhenghua park to Chestnut NP (include southern loop)
4) Upper Peirce Reservoir (U-turn at car park entry)
5) Venus loop trail
6) Peirce track (u-turn at summit after treetop walk entrance)
7) Earth trail between Telok Blangah hill and HortPark

* strongly advised due to long distance to the next water point

Notes:

– The route is recommended to be run in clockwise direction starting from Bukit Timah Railway Station.
– Runners are advised to equip themselves with headlamps if running in the dark as various sections of the route are unlit between 7pm and 7am.
– Runners are to comply with the opening hours of Bukit Timah nature reserve, Chestnut Nature Park, Upper Peirce Reservoir and MacRitchie Reservoir Park and plan their runs accordingly.

***update***
– At Rainbow Bridge, please do not cross into the workers’ dormitory but continue back out to Woodlands Road to continue your run towards Woodlands Centre Road past the old checkpoint through Marsiling Park.
– Along Pipeline trail from Woodlands southwards, keep to the left side of all fencing
– Stop and refill at Chestnut Nature Park before heading north to Mandai T15.

Detours (updated 1 Oct 2022)

Rail Corridor (between Stagmont Ring and Kranji MRT) is closed for upgrading works – to run safely along Woodlands Road, recommend to cross over at Mandai Rd junction and run along the side past Kranji war memorial entry.
