Event Summary – Ultra Trail Singapore Series (UTSG)
- The UTSG race allows XTrailblazers to attempt and complete a 50km route incorporating trail running in accessible nature areas across four regions around Singapore every two months.
- This virtual challenge is held on every even month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug).
Runners may then challenge themselves in the Finale race of 100km in Oct. - Runners may choose to run the routes at one go or in two separate segments on their own within each even month but are highly encouraged to join XTrailblazers on race dates indicated in the registration link.
- Attendance is capped at 50 persons per session. Cut-off times are 12 hours for A single attempt or 10 hours for two separate segments (combined).

UTSG North: Start/End at MacRitchie Reservoir (80% trail, 20% road) (1,180m elevation)

UTSG West: Start/End at Hillview MRT/Dairy Farm Carpark A (40% trail, 60% road) (850m elevation)

Race Brief
1) The virtual race will start from 01 Feb 2022 to 31 Aug 2022.
2) Registration is $8 for all 4 events. Participants will receive e-bib, e-certificate, leaderboard standings & lucky draw at end of October.
3) Participants are required to run and submit their results to qualify for leaderboard.
4) There will only be a maximum of 2 segments per each 50KM race route.
2022 UTSG Prizes
Awarded to the top 3 participants of Male/Female category with the highest total UTSG points accumulated from all 4 races (single attempt per race).

Rules & Regulations
- All registered participants (completed registration at https://xtrailblazers.com/) may run each of the following stage races in a single attempt or two segments within each qualifying period. Group run (up to 50 runners) are scheduled on the last 3 Saturday mornings of each qualifying period as follows:

All runners are required to navigate the route on their own or in groups in accordance with prevailing safe management measures stipulated by Sports SG for outdoor activities.
- Runners are required to submit their race results via Strava link within 24hrs after their run via https://xtrailblazers.com/. Runners may choose to start/finish their race at any point along the respective race route.
- All registered participants will get an e-bib, an e-cert and race entitlements (optional and payable).
- Runners who finish each 50km stage race in a single attempt are eligible for UTSG points which will be accumulated over the entire UTSG series to qualify for the top 3 male and female finisher prizes. Only the top 50 runners of each race within the qualifying period will be awarded UTSG points based on the following table:

- Runners who run each UTSG stage in 2 segments will only qualify for leaderboard ranking and will not be eligible for the prizes awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers.
- Ranking of runners will be based on elapsed times of each run, with a maximum of 12hrs for a single attempt and 10hrs over 2 segments.
- Runners are to note that access to certain trails may be restricted at particular timings and they should plan their runs according to the opening timings of these trails. Trails within nature reserves are accessible only between 7am and 7pm daily. Runners who deviate from the specified route due to non-accessibility of trails are advised to submit photographic evidence to record unforeseen circumstances or may otherwise be imposed a time penalty at the discretion of the race organiser.
- By participating in the race, runners are deemed to have indemnify the race organiser from any responsibility resulting from injury, illness or incapacitation due to weather and natural elements. Runners are required to plan their own nutrition refill and resupply according to their individual needs over their run duration to ensure the overall well-being of their health.
